Welp, in spite of the lack of a hotel code, I've booked a room. I've also cancelled a class I registered for this summer, and warned some friends in the Bay Area that I'll be out their way.
WFO-5 is a go for me. I'll prolly head back west from Maryland on July 17. I'll meet an old friend in Yosemite on the 21st. Between the 17th and the 21st, I plan on doing something beautiful and something ugly. The ugly thing will definitely be an SS1K or two. The beautiful thing will happen in Colorado, Wyoming, or Utah, tbd. I plan on staying in the Bay Area until the 27th, hopefully getting out on the bay on a sailboat a time or two. I'm going to head East from Kali in time to make the 1st night (7/27) in Reno. Unfortunately, or not, depending if you're me, I've got to bug out in the afternoon on Saturday to meet up with a new friend who is having a bachelor's week in Vegas, starting Saturday night. Sunday morning, I'm going to beat feet back to Maryland from Vegas. I'll do another ugly thing, or two, but probably not another beautiful thing...until the next trip. Regards.
