In no way knowing these people and just trying to give back to the forum, I needed some new gloves because while traveling through America and leaving Las Vegas in 105 degrees packing in bright sunshine, I made a mistake and rode off with two of my pairs of gloves laying next to the bike!! I lost my Racer High Ends that I bought at a great sale thanks to a forum member, and a pair of mid weight leather gloves that I had for years and can't even know the maker. I've decided that I should spring and own high quality gloves as we never know when a get off could happen and I wanted to look at Held. In searching the internet I found an on line store in Spain selling Held Evo Thrux Kangaroo gloves in Black for $71.00 and $8.67 shipping to my home in America. I did do a little google checking before ordering and found that they had decent reviews for not being a scam, but I just ordered and have not yet received anything.

Here is the link.

Never seen that website before and they seem to carry quite a few brands which are new to me as well. Thanks for the link.

I've been buying some gear recently from Germany. The USD vs the Euro exchange rate make the deals fantastic. I recently purchased a pair of SIDI Adventure GoreTex boots - retail in the US is $550 . . . purchased from Germany $315 shipped to my door. Yesterday I had a Alpinestars Calama Jacket arrive that if it were even available in the US would be $500+ . . . $300 shipped to my door.

There are a lot of great retailers in Europe willing to ship tot he US. The prices on European made products: Sidi, Alpinestars, Held, are even better because there is no importer/us distributor taking a piece of the pie. The key is to know exactly what you want and what size you are to avoid returns.

One of the keys for me would be to remember to put away my gloves and not lose them like a fool because it's over 100 degrees in the desert.

Beyond that, I bought a Shark RSR2 helmet from FC Moto in Germany a couple of months ago and it was a smoking deal around $200.00 all in. I love that helmet as I'd had one before I knew just what it would be and the price was great. It did take about a month to get the helmet.

True. Shipping can be a little slow - it took 2 weeks to get my boots and 3 weeks to get my jacket. But well worth the wait.

I couldn't figure out the sizing. The chart link wouldn't work. Normally US size is XXL for me. I am not sure how that translates to 7,8,9,10,11,12 sizes.

These are great gloves. I have 2 pairs of these already.

Great price!

I know there is a forum member (dont recall who), that did a very detailed review of these.

But, everything Held does is top quality IMO.

They did now send me a tracking number, which is a good sign. I don't understand that well about Held sizes and I'm between a large and XL, so I ordered a size 10. I'm hoping it will fit right.

10 should be a good fit based on my experience with several pair of HELD gloves. Technically I'm a 9.5 sized glove. When a half size is not available I purchase a 10 and it always has been fine.

The gloves came today and I was very happy with everything. The size 10 worked out well as if they were any smaller they'd be up for sale here now. It was a great deal and great price/service. I also bouth these other gloves.

I tried the other gloves on and really seem to like them to. For $135.00 and a little under $10.00 for shipping this is what I got. The touring 5 gloves are Kangaroo skin with a warm lining and Hipora barrier, just not as armored and racing.
