In my personal opinion, I think they're giving him enough rope to hang himself, as it'll be nearly impossible to get good results immediately, and if he doesn't, it'll all point to him and not his tires and really sink his ship.

This is a bit mean of me, but I've never liked the pedrobot anyway. Now that the title is all but locked up I'd be tickled pink if Bridgestone didn't score another podium finish this year.

This is so true. It's sad, but it's also the reason bikes are so much better than cages; the rider really matters!

When Pedrosa was introduced at the start today he was loudly booed. Not a favorite of the American fans, that's for sure.
