Ahhh...

It's nice to see the man has good taste, if'n I do say so myself. Picked the right color & all. Just sayin' .

Best of luck with the new toy.

Nice bike ... enjoy it :)

So what farkles are you planning ... What is the reasoning for each and how and where do you plan on mounting/fitting them.

I ask for two reasons. First, I am in the process of simplifying and de-cluttering my Gen 1 and second ... other folk are often surprised at what we fit to bikes, explaining how various items are used helps everyone understand their worth.

I managed 10 LD Rallies on the old Venture Royale. I was always "pushing it uphill" against the competition, but we did just fine. That bike went through a steady modification process from the day I bought it, and I was still making changes right up until I sold it.

When I got the FJR I had a short time to transfer the most important bits before a 3000 mile trip to Colorado. That gave me a much better impression of what I needed, and how I needed it to work ... so it's changing again.

Maybe we could use a separate thread to discuss what farkls and why, but I thought your take on your new bike would be interesting ....

beautiful, gonna let your buddies sit on her & fart ???
IF he had any buddies... Notice how he just had to rub it in about my 22 mile crash? IF I still had feelings they would be hurt.

Nice bike jerk. I hope you get a hemorrhoid.
I think he IS a hemorrhoid.

Seriously that is a great looking bike and I know how much you wanted it and how long you had to wait for it. I am very pleased to see this thread as well as your message on my phone. If you remember that overcast day last February when you were explaining the menus and suspension to me and Pop, you will remember that I was hooked that day. If the dealership would have had one in stock that day there would have been no way I could have waited long enough for the '15 to come out.

Of course my salesman at that dealership should have known that and had one on hand... Right G Squared?

I gotta say that was a cold shot at RFH.

Besides, anyone can get a '14 to 23 miles; it's the '15s that like to nap at 22.

Enjoy the ride.

Congrats on that red beauty.

I know you will enjoy every mile of riding, and there will be plenty of those.
