Sold My Suzuki today. This bike was my "back in the saddle again". Raising my son and paving a life for my family left me with little time to ride. I had been without a motorcycle for 8 years. I bought this Suzuki three years ago and have had some great rides on it here in the Pacific Northwest. Fast, fun and a pretty versatile bike. It was a great bike and it put a smile on my face every time I turned the throttle. I ride 2up 15% of my riding. My wife liked the Suzuki, but she loves the FJR!

I have only had my Yamaha for a few months and can't wait for some nice weather. Some sunshine today lured my out on a short little run to Applegate Lake. Ahhh, full fairing, heated grips, comfort! I'm not looking back!

of course I like your fjr, but I have to say I have always loved the looks of those suzuki's. I've never ridden one, but there is something about that look that gets me going.

Still have my '93 G (and my FJR); got it in 2002 and, once I put Progressive springs in the front and had Dennis repair the slide guides, I've enjoyed the hell out of it since. It wears a Rifle Sport fairing and GIVI Wingrack with 2 E41s and an E460. Great bike for riding the Blue Ridge Parkway with its low gearing. Fairly easy to work on, with a bulletproof motor.

Hey another Gman! :drinks: Progressive springs are a must for the G. Best upgrade I did to mine.

Phew! For a second there, you had me by the thread title.

I thought George/escape had gotten a divorce and his wife took the FJR in a settlement...and was posting up here to talk about it.

Glad it wasn't so George. :clapping:

I also added a Russell saddle; helped a problem my bad knee had with the OEM seat. Been with the G group on Yahoo for 10 years now and been to most of their rallies. Gs are starting to get scarce, but not as scarce as my Madura or my X6.
