I sometimes do video on my rides and enjoy the results afterwords. But this blows it away completely. I wonder if we'll see a consumer model soon and how much it would set me back?

Not many people get to see that view of Rossi that close up when he's on a track bike. Was interesting to watch him work though and note how little the bike bobbled once he picked a line.

Now that you mention it, yeah. He sticks to it like superglue. Unlike me - I can never get it right. Always correcting a little here and there. Good thing the FJR is easy that way.

I doubt if you'll see a consumer model any time soon, and if you do, be prepared to get a second mortgage to finance it. It is freakin awesome though!

Wow, that was EXTREMELY cool for a short video to watch a great racer move on his bike, but it wouldn't be very good at all for the kind of videos of rides and scenery we enjoy here. Let's pick a forum rider. Let's just say we picked, oh, Old Michael. Would you REALLY want to see a five-minute video of Old Michael's ***, with just a little scenery showing off to the sides?

And if it was mounted on the front end, you'd lose all the sense of leaning that makes motorcycle ride videos more interesting than the same scenery would be if the camera were mounted on the front fender of a truck. Thank goodness--finally--an expensive farkle I DON'T want. B)
