You're $180 poorer but you are a lucky guy. No points, no insurance premium increase, and only one ticket.

If I were you, I'd go buy a Powerball ticket.

Now, I wasn't to pleased w/ the way the trooper picked me up in a passing zone in CO on the way to WFO,

But 73 in a 60 was only $68.80...

Yeah that's right, my jaw almost dropped when he handed me the ticket,

in MN it would have easily been over $100...

Often times with those types of tickets, an explanation will even get the ticket dismissed since you did have a valid license, just not on you.
If I show up in our municipal court for this one, I think the officer would FRY me in front of our ever so loving presiding judge Charles J. Sprigman and I'd be paying $180 + court costs. :blinksmiley:
dont contest contest it and the cop shouldnt have to come.

Well just got out of court, I saved $147! :yahoo:

When I went to the prosecutor he asked "Why did the officer pull you over?" Of course, not wanting to admit guilt, I said that I didn't have my license on me. Then he says, "You just failed the prosecutor honesty test so I'll ask you again, why did the officer pull you over?" so I mentioned rolling the red blinker and he says "OK so the officer cut you a break, I'll get this dismissed. It'll be $33 in court costs.

If you've never been to your local municipal court, it's way better than court TV.
