Wow, had no idea this was in Yamaha's lineup. Still just a 5-speed though...

Since I actually ride one, no the ST 1300 does not seem to cut into FJR 1300 sales very much! Honda does not even list it for 2013. The ST1300 is so outdated that the 2012s are still delivered with the Bridgestone BT-020. Remember them? Also noteworthy is that even though it has not been updated since 2003 the price is still higher than a 2013 FJR. Pathetic really.

The ad says that its a YAMAHA ST1300. If Yamaha made both the FJR1300 and the ST1300, it would probably effect the FJR sales, unless no one bought the ST of course.

Seriously (or not!) I knew it was a joke, I was just throwing some things out there. It is more funny to me than it is to you since I own the outdated Honda. I appreciated your post for what you intended it to be.
