Uggggghh...acccckkkkkk...yiiiikkkkes...Cobalt Blue!!!!

MY EYES!!!

That's almost, but not quite, exactly the wrong shade of blue they used on the '05s.

:D

I don't know if anyone has noticed this yet, but the bolts on the 2006 engine where you attach the R&G sliders now appears to be exposed. It looks like you will not have to drill the lower fairing now. There now Mr. Bounce. The first of more to come about my own research on slider info and giving back to the forum. ;) I was at the show also. Really enjoyed it.

looks sweet frisco..how'd it feel?
fjrchick or the FJR?
Hey now! Watch it nuthead! ;)

Great to finally meet someone off these boards in person! And the bike was awesome!!! I kid you not. Absolutely hot! The color is gorgeous and deep. Can't wait to see it in the sunlight. It seems much more finished than previous models and there was quite a crowd around both of them. It's a far cry from my 03. Jim and I worked on another couple considering an FJR. I think we sold'em on it!

I'm so extremely happy with my decision and now have lost all patience with this waiting business. I was on cloud nine all day! :D

Of course! I know your just playin! :aacute:

Let's hope the " stick shift " version of the '06 outsells the " auto " version. There is way too many of the ugly silver ones running around as it is.

Friscojim, based on the pictures of your garage...you're a very troubled man.

How 'bout making a mess in there so it looks like a garage. You're making the rest of us look bad.

Pics were by a friend of mine's girlfriend who was at the show - couldn't figure out how to just get the one pic hooked up here so I figured I'd share the album. :D

Just some riding buddies of mine -

I think they could tell we were excited about the bike!

Oh, pilgrims, if you think you were excited just to sit on one, wait until you actually get to ride your FJR. There aren't enough adjectives to fully describe it.

The best explanation is the pain in your cheeks from smiling so hard inside your full-face helmet. :D

Thanks for all those photos. Nice pic of that blue 06. Too bad I was out of town and could not get to the show.

It felt great - more comfortable than the 05's I've sat on - the seat was in the lowest position on the A model (highest on the AE - not much difference) - the bars seemed more upright but they had the covers on the adjustment part so I couldn't tell what position they were in. The dash is absolutely gorgous - brushed alum bezels look great - side deflectors look like they have to be unscrewed to be moved then screwed back in - may be able to move the front out or the back and keep the other end in for more wind deflection options. Apparently the seat adjustment is just a different slide point under the seat - must take the seat off and reposition it - need the key and they said they didn't have it though the side glove box (with the powere outlet) was open...hmmmm?
