I need everyone who was at the event today to post up in this thread that they were there.

I still have one prize left to give away, and if you were here today, you'll be in the draw:

It's the ticket for Sound Rider's Sport Tour Northwest event. :)

FastJoyRide was in the house!

I was there. I am the guy from the Bing team (not the maps folks, though) who was riding a R1200GS :yahoo:

Here are some of the links I noted during the presentations:

Ride to Eat - Download the GPX file and load into Streets & Trips. Lots of fun places to eat (some for good food, some for something notable about the ride to get there).

POI Factory - Lots of downloadable Points of Interest.

Discovery Owners - An RV site, but has some good POI downloads.

GPS Babel - Useful software for converting between various GPS data formats

Streets and Trips team blog

Laptop GPS World

Trackr - Online tracking site that you can use if you have a GPS-enabled phone.

Instamapper - Another cell-phone/GPS tracking site

Glympse - Another cell-phone/GPS tracking site. Allows you to control who can see your tracks.

EveryTrail - Share your routes online

BMWMAN,

Thanks for listing the links.

I'm still missing 7 people. I counted 19 people there, plus myself (removed from this draw, thus 19 people). I'm also excluding Larry from Streets and Trips from this count.

So, there are another 7 people I need to account for...

Maybe they are people who aren't members here. An invite was sent out to an internal Microsoft email list, so plenty of people who aren't members heard about it.

If it will make the numbers work, I was there... ;)

Seriously, sounds like a good event and thanks for posting up the links bmwman
