Colleen and I were there, I thought we won all the prizes?

Sorry for the late post, just back from our little trip. 700 miles and I'm a bit saddle sore.

Seems to me we gathered a couple folks who were there more in 'spirit' than body, eh OM? ;) Good times, we should do it again. How about a webcast of AuburnFJR's Tech Day...now that would be interesting!

I'm still missing 7 people. I counted 19 people there, plus myself (removed from this draw, thus 19 people)
Maybe they are people who aren't members here. An invite was sent out to an internal Microsoft email list, so plenty of people who aren't members heard about it.
I had one person from the first internal email ping me - otherwise, I'm not sure if any other showed up. I mean, I know there were a couple guys there, but beyond Matt, there were no email responses to me... :( I'll try to dig up the aliases and ping them. ;)

Hi All,

I wanted to thank everyone for coming out to participate in the GPS Tech Day. It was good to meet all of you.

Here are some of the links and resources mentioned during the Streets & Trips talk. (to add the list that BMWMan posted above)

  • S&T team blog - find tips-n-tricks and how to get the most out of Streets & Trip
  • Download the free POI Megafile for Truckers and RVers - this contains ALL of the POI listed on DiscoveryOwners website + more.
  • Download the 3 Motorcycle sample S&T 2010 maps shown during the S&T presentation. These include all the motorcycle dealerships collections.
  • For anyone who didn't win a copy of Streets & Trips - here is a link to download the 60-day free trial. Note: file size is fairly substantial - 1.2GB so be patient.

I was in attendance - very informative - Thanks Sportsguy and Rawhide.

Good to see the rest of you hooligans as well, suprised they let us on the MS Campus....

Rawhide - thanks for all the info and taking the time on a Saturday. My download is 58% complete for my trial version and I am only taking that route so that I can have near instant gratification. Thank the tech gods for uber fast broad band. I have copied your links and those provided by bmwman and have put them in my rapidly growing collection in a Word doc. Now planning my WA-BC-AK-BC-YT-BC-AB-BC-WA trip for later this summer. It was a great session and I really appreciate it.

Duane, you did ok too.
