Ok it was my favorite when I was in fourth grade. I really liked The Long Way Round book in conjunction with the movie. I think you need to read both to get the full story.

This was the best ever... hahaha... i named my pet rat after Ralph.

The Perfect Vehicle (What it is about motorcycles) by Melissa Holbrook Pierson is a nice autobiography of a person's life after motorcycling becomes a primary activity. And a good history and overview of the motorcycling scene.
I am dying to read this book. It's on my Christmas list.

I had the good fortune of meating Melissa in Spartanburg prior to the start of the Iron Butt Rally. She rode there with John Ryan (think Utimate Coast to Coast record) completing her first SaddleSore1000. Spent a couple hours getting to know her and of course talking motorcyles. Found out about her book, so of course now I have to read it.

Neat lady.

Just finished reading, Big Sid's Vincati by Matthew Biberman.

Peter Egan's Leanings is a good read.
