Like I just wrote in the "Great day in the Pacific North West post" Fontanaman and I did meet for a 250+ mile ride. My first 200+ run for this year....
Here's the map, the ride started at the Hawks Prairie Restaurant in Lacey, went 101, then SR8 to Montesano, from there to Raymond and off to Long Beach and back. Fontanaman had provided it..
About 1 hour in to the ride, a quart of coffee told me, if yer not stopping VERY SOON, you'll regret it, so i made us stop at a Mc D's in Raymond to answer natures calling and right away refill it with more coffee
Checking if my GoPro is working
, didn't bother to turn her on any earlier, since I had in parts still a decent layer of fog and not to nice temps in the mid 30's
Isn't Fontanaman's FeeJay beautiful? Yes she is, I only would need to discuss them BLACK RIMS...which I personally don't like at all, but we're talking taste....so live and let live, AS LONG AS NO ONE FORCES THEIRS ON TO ME!
Fontanaman and I continued our way to Long Beach we came closer to parts of the sound and had a bit of fog, nothing too concerning at all, but I liked the way that came out on my GoPro video, so there yer have it!!'
Fontanaman upfront and I'm following him through some nice and fast paced curves, dat lean!!!
Well some more lean, Wanted to show my lean for ONCE
My GoPro is hanging center and level on my windshield....
Fontanaman and I made a brief stop to let them slow cages advance on us, giving us more room for more twisties.....
Not that Fontanaman and I had to deal with too many of 'em, but it was nice for a change to giddy up and fly by a few slow pokes:
Dat lean!!! NICE.....
The weather was OUTSTANDING, so I loved this picture a lot, cuz of the glare of the sun!!
A few more miles and Fontanaman and I will be in Long Beach, crossing a bridge
Arriving in Long Beach at the Beach....
The good ol' Pacific...never gets old for me!! Thanks to Fontanaman, he took the pics, cuz I'm too paranoid leaving our bikes unattended....
Now on the way home, flying by a few more slow pokes, but behaving, because Black 'n White was on da prowl....
VOLKER (that would be me) 2 seconds, not .5
Whoops...didn't realize that out of 90 the 35 sign would come on soo fast!!
Lastly, as the curvy roads kept on going for a decent 2 hours before hitting the I5 again..the Cherry on top of dat whip cream, the good ol' Mt Rainier, it never gets boring or old for me!
Apology for dat crappy quality, my iPhone 4 is showing off its inability, I know Fontanaman took a few wild and daring pics with his cam while doing twisties and such, so I hope he will add to it. Apart from it I have a farkle request with Missy, I need a NEW iPhone
260 and change miles later (Fontanaman had some 80 more miles to go) I was home, satisfied. My arse, thanks to Rich's seat, didn't feel it a bit, my knees started towards the end to complain after about 7 hours, but a far cry from what they yelled at me, before my GP suspension farkle, at about 2 hours in to a ride. The after market mirrors are still stern staying in the wind, no wobble of any kind, all farkles are working like a charm, I love my Bike!!!
