given the pucker factor on that ride, I wonder how long it took to pry him out of the seat??????????

Actually it can be done.

I lost all the covering on one wing of an R/C aircraft while in flight. Got it into a half assed Knife edge, similar to what this guy did. Managed to land the plane without further damage.

An Isreali pilot did it with an

after a midair collision. The F15 gets a lot more of its lift from the fuselage, though. As big as that wing is on the stunt plane I don't see it being able to roll toward the lone wing as it's shown doing. I know they have gobs of aileron, but I can't see it being enough to neutralize the wing's lift and hold a knife-edge. And I find it strange the the camera falls off the subject or goes out of focus at just those particular moments that it does. Not to mention parking with the missing wing facing away. Wouldn't you have run over with your camera to get that?

Some pilots on another list i'm on pointed out the fake bits. It's an RC plane that they then edit well for the pilot exit.

This video is 100% Fake. Part RC and part animation.

On the other hand............

The Israeli F15 is in fact real. The amount of available thrust on the F15 enables it to pretty much fly like a rocket, this is how they are able to go vertical. Don't need wings to do that. Here's the F15 video
