Vancouver ( Kits ) FJR here.

My S.O. and I host a ride each August - the 50/50 Ride. It's 3 days. We leave Abbotsford Friday morning and end in Nelson. Two nights in Nelson and then south to Washington Hwy 20 and back to I-5 and home. We get a pretty even mix between US & Cdn riders. Usually 10-15 riders. Next year will be our 7th year.

Whoa... David. That's nice terrain and some fine 2 lane travel. I have done all of that but in many different pieces and bikes over the past too many years and would love to do it again. I'm thinking the 2nd week in Sept, after the kiddies are back in school and many of the tourists are gone. Perfect weather for that trip. If you are in Nelson for a bit, you have obviously taking liberties with all the fine rides around there, including the great New Denver - Kaslo ride, which now has new asphalt and is primo for a very quick run in both directions.
