For those that rode to the first NAFO event in Golden, Colorado in 2008....think about what you remember and what made NAFO worthwhile to you. If you need...pics are here. Help prime the pump to remind what NAFO 2010 goers have to look forward to with their continent conquering chariot...capable of folding space, time, and milepost markers with ease.

For me it was boozing it up in the parking lot with must-have farkles

certainly a bunch of FJRs in the parking lot was cool

or a ride to Mt. Hamiton trying to keep up with Skooterg and his dirty ol' whore through the corners....after he'd dropped it on the way to the event.

Great idea for a thread!

The best thing, of course, is meeting fellow FJR riders in real life that would otherwise just be avatars. But there was also...

...earning a BBG cert on the way out. Lots of witnesses once you get there, folks!

...window shopping for farkle ideas in an FJR-crammed parking lot.

...great roads that you otherwise wouldn't have seen.

...and RALLY SWAG! Like this cool hex wrench/bottle opener combo tool that the folks from N/Line passed out. Mighty darn handy.

Wish I could make it this year. But if you can make it happen, do it!

I remember standing in front of the room at the banquet and having strange women feel my ass. :yahoo:  I'm sure somebody has pictures.

You wouldn't know cause you were recovering from you latest attempt at flying the old whore off a cliff  . I don't think Don was there anyway. It was FJRchiks fault anyway cause she talked me into it

Ahhh, yes, let's not forget GZ takin' bare-ass photos of some attendees in the hotel bar and nearly getting us all 86'd from the place...

And the rides...the views...the scenery... (Skooter didn't crash during this ride, but DID have a close call w/ a crazy freakin' deer.)

I didn't get to see it all go down, but my camera says it happened. I really appreciated the bonus "beauty shot" from him too. ;)

But beware, there was some weird man-love going on...

Scott: Just how many variations of this pic and just how many FJR events have there been, where we've seen this same photograph? A hundred or a thousand? Different dates and different clothes, and different FJR Event locations; but some things just never change: Greg kissing away on dcarver! jes' sayin'! If you have not yet planned your FJR Forum Event for 2010, I highly recommend you attend NAFO this year! You simply cannot imagine how much fun it is to be riding and partying with the finest motorcyclists on this planet. Great Bike and Super People! Don't miss NAFO 2010 folks!!!

Thanks, Duff! I think you about covered it.

The riding THERE is great, the riding WHILE THERE is great, the riding FROM THERE is great and you'll have pictures to prove it.

It's the MEMORIES and the friends!

Think of the local folks you've met simply because you ride and FJR and/or are a member of one of the websites. Now....times 100!

It's meeting new friends you've only talked with or joked with on line, sharing the experience of gathering around the bikes and talking and getting to know one another.....

Yep....IT'S THE PEOPLE!

Do not miss this opportunity........ Afterward it will be too late and you'll be sorry.
