Did you ever find out the diameter for the grips? I have an '04 FJR1300 and I want to get the BMW sport touring grips, but I have no part number. Any ideas where I can get this info?

Or you can get the Tacki Sport Touring grips for about half that price.

Then, once you realize the Tacky grips are not what you want and won't suit your purpose, you can throw them on the shelf and get the BMW grips....then your total cost will be closer to $40. Actually, I have a friend who has really large hands (He of 6'5" ht. and 320# of girth) and loves the Tacky grips on all his bikes. Merry Christmas to him!

don't you want to order 2 Left Grips -

as the right grip on a BMW comes with the throttle tube - making the cost for the right side quite a bit higher.

I had a ding bat parts guy tell me I had to order them as a pair for something like $70.

No, the right grip is the correct one to fit over the throttle tube. They went on in minutes and with the Vista Cruise method used by Warchild it looks like a professional setup straight from the factory.
