Guys i know this has prob. been asked before but couldnt find it so i thought i would ask every 1 what they have replaced your grips with , i been looking at takie grips what u guys think an sorry if this is stupid thanks in advance
I've had Johar foam "Superbike" griips on every bike since 1981. They are easy to install, fairly fat and very comfortable foam grips that don't cost much.

Grip puppies are great. However, definitly follow the directions, soapy water is a big help in getting them on.

I went a different route using a grip puppy on the throttle and a thick ribbed grip on the left. I like the thickness of the grip puppy and the comfort of the ribbed for pleasure on the left side.

I'm thinking that the soapy water may come back to haunt me, when riding in the rain..... ayone run into this or have a solution for it,,(no punn intended)

+ 1 1/2 Gunny on the soap or windex.

I used the Tacki Touring Gloves. They are thicker in the center with a oval shape that is quite comfortable. Only had one 200+ mile ride on them since I put them on but the difference was completely obvious. Much more comfortable than stock.
