I just received a call for my local Yamaha dealership. Yesterday Yamaha issued a recall on the 2008 grounding trouble we have been having. The service advisor told me they have a "kit" for the recall and if there is any harness damage it will be replaced also. I inquired about the 100's of dollars I spend myself on fixing the trouble, if I could be reimbursed. He did not have an answer, my guess is no but don't hurt to ask.
