Grrr! is a column on foxnews.com (https://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,126808,00.html) that addresses people called:
Oblivion (oh-bliv-éon) — A person who is so oblivious to his or her surroundings that they abandon all common courtesy and commit daily acts of rudeness. Oblivions are oblivious to the very fact that they are Oblivions, which makes it difficult for an Oblivion to ever see the error in his or her ways.

These are the people on this forum that can't post in the right category and never use the search feature. Maybe there could be a simple test to pass first before you are allowed to post. I like helping others, but I don't like leading them around by the nose. :assassin:

Just for the record, there are so many Oblivions in the world that worrying about them is pointless. It's the Obliviots that we should be looking out for:

Obliviot — A person whose Oblivionism is dangerous to others. Will stop short in the middle of a busy sidewalk to answer a cell phone, try to board an "up" elevator before it empties, and swings a lit cigarette indiscriminately as they walk. Also known to make abrupt, complete stops at yield signs and are chronic rubber-neckers.

This is some good ****!

Carry on, the NASCAR race is rain delayed...

All men are not created equal :( .Just gotta accept this. Some folk can't wrench to save their life; others ain't so sharp with computers.
Amen on the kompyooters! And when I ask for help, its like everyone speaks another language. They're talking, but we're not communicating.

Leave the newbies alone. How are they going to learn if they don't jump in? They have no way of knowing that the question that's important to them has been answered 852 times. Simply do what someone else did for you; direct them to the answer and give them a polite hint about where to find the answer to other questions (Like the FAQ Thread).

Besides, most of us can use a good laugh. I get some of mine by reading Rad's and TWN's answers. :derisive:

First look at what area of the forum we are in. Second, I missed the place when I joined where I was supposed to start with 332 posts. Third, I see that all 333 of your posts are helpful and contributing.
Let me just say...

Hey FJRocha,

Nice avatar, you found an animal smarter and better looking than you. :p

38 posts, 3 of which in this ludicrous topic. That really makes you a regular and helpful contributor to this forum, right?

Hey, uh, don't want to point out the obvious but I don't think you used the quote function properly...maybe you have one of those bullets with your name on it??? :yahoo: :yahoo:

borrec ,,

seems to me that someone with sooooo many posts ,, like yourself ,, would be happy to help out the newbies!!!!

or are you just sooo selfish that the info on this forum is only for those who have been posting for say 500 posts ??? :p :yahoo:

Where did that come from? I have spent most of my life teaching, instructing and helping others. Let me put this another way. When someone goes to the 10 items or less line with 20 items. The people that get on airplanes with luggage that would never fit in the test device and the ticket agent doesn't make them check it. People that cruise in the passing lane (slower traffic keep right) and create traffic jams. These forums are great for people to help each other. If you search first then you have an immediate answer or you could add to the post. If there are multiple posts for the same topic, then when someone does it right, they have to read all the other posts to end up at the correct one. It is basically consideration of the others in society with the end result being that it is better for everyone.
