OK, I'll jump in with both feet. An issue that is near and dear to me, GUN CONTROL in on the menu. Why the fook can't our government (yes, it is inept) have a national concealed carry permit? Last I checked, all but 3 or 4 states in the union have some type of concealed carry. I'm not saying give everyone a gun, but have it so if I want to pay for the permit, and practice enough to qualify on a level at least as high as local law enforcement, why the heck not?

I will have to make sure I am not on vacation next April 1st, and take the day off, so I can post all the things that would normally get me kicked off the board.

****, Barack's taking names as we speak. This whole thing was bait. All participants will be banned tomorrow. Way to show that restraint, man. ;)

Have you heard Barack's new slogan:

"KILL WHITIE!"

That was actually part of the idea. One day to let your rant flag fly.

And, actually serious....I think the answer to your question is the largely related to the Tenth Amendment.

powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

And the last time I checked...each state has a different opinion on the way they want to regulate CCW. You think you can get 50 states in a room together and agree on a common standard? Or speed limits, the way drivers licenses look and information they have, and myriad of other things. Those things that tend to be standardized have intrastate ramifications (like why one state lets you drive in another state based on having a license in one, recognizing marriages, etc.)

It's the founding father tug and pull of states rights vs. federal powers battled first by Jefferson and Hamilton manifested in a more current issue.

And yet, a law was recently passed to allow former law enforcement officers to carry throughout the US. So it is OK for former LEO's, but not for the rest of us. Why werethe States OK with that?

Except in D.C., which The Court of the Most High Supreme's is currently looking into.

And why is it that airline pilots can carry, but FJR pilots can't??

Hmmm.... Crap...there goes my tidy history lesson. Where's a constitutional scholar when you need one? ;)

I guess we're a condundrum....

FWIW, the Supreme Court will be ruling on the 2nd amendment in the next few months. The issue of being able to own a gun in certain cities that have banned them is finally come to a head. I do not envy the Supreme Court Justices. They either have to tell some of the largest cities in the US they are fooking wrong, or they have to tell every gun owner in the US, they could be forced to give up their guns. Which do you think they will do?

The court leans right, so there's your answer, Skippy.

Now, go fetch me a beer and a 'gar.

Whether they lean right or not, I just can't see them making every gun illegal at this point.

So thanks there slick Willie. Now why don't you start whipping you *** from back to front, and maybe the fertilizer will help you grow your balls back!

Well, at least I'll still be a heartbeat away from the button, radioactive boy.
OH ********, Hillary would never let you close to anything like that. Did she let you continue to piss standing up after being married for a year? Do you have to ask permission to break wind?

Gosh, I guess I don't understand, but it seems like the last time I had my balls sucked it felt pretty good? Of course that was so long ago and my memory so bad that I could be wrong?

jim
