Happy Birthday Jesus, Grandma,

After a long morning of baking, I decided to make the 50 mile journey up into the hills to deliver some freshly-baked cookies to my dear 86 year-old (Dec. 25th) grandmother. You know its a great day when you get a chance to flirt with the rev limiter four gears in a row! Grandma lives with my uncle now, as the Alzheimer's is taking hold. After a nice visit, it was time to head back down the hill. After cruising by the local 4 point buck (western count) in the driveway, there wasn't much else to better complete a great Christmas Eve, other than a spirited ride back home. Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!

I had a great ride yesterday here in the Portland, OR area, but never made it past mid Dec. in all my years in Northern Alberta. I have a brother in the Pincher Creek area, say Hi for me!
