Thanks guys. I'll celebrate by going to work and enjoying the nice company provided machine coolant sauna. Only 95F inside for 8 hours last night, more of the same tonight.

Toe - That was my '04 with the scratched up bags. Before the CT. I was riding home from White Stag in '07 and after about 100 miles of riding on snow on US 95 I came over the pass just South of Hawthorne, NV and the sun was out. The packed snow/ice was glistening in the sun, with a layer of water on top of the snow/ice. I low sided at about 35 mph and departed the bike. At the very end, the bike flipped over and took out the other mirror and bar end, finishing off the screen. I picked things up, tweaked things a bit and rode into Hawthorne to assess. Then rode the remaining 850 miles home that same day. Beatty, NV to Oregon City, OR has never seemed that long before or since! Doing mass head checks and riding w/o a screen in Jan sucked!

I really should get Garauld to paint my bags up pretty. They still work though, and I just spent $300+ fixing the damn furnace 's blower so I could have the A/C working again as a birthday present to myself.

Thanks Don. I enjoyed riding with you and Ralph/Maryanne. You ride a nice pace and it was fun interacting. I still think that tourist at Dry Falls thought you were gonna jump! (hold my camera and watch this!)
