Hey thanks bunches everybody! The day went pretty well, didn't really have to do anything I didn't want to do. That was the good...

And now for the bad: I won't be able to make the WFO scene this weekend. A good friend of mine lost his wife in a traffic collision last Friday, and her burial (at sea) will be starting at 0900 on Sunday the 25th in Oxnard Harbor.

I know you will all have a great time at WFO without me, so I'll be the one who is missing out. We had great plans to crash the Saturday evening festivities and only have to make the walk across the street to sleep afterward.

I'll keep you all in my warmest thoughts and send energy for an awesome time and safe return! Thanks again. Looking forward to 50 more, the slim (body) half of my life! Golden years, yeah?
