I headed over to a buddy's crawfish boil on Saturday, and stopped to pick up a 12 pack of Miller Lite for him. There was one Harley rider in the group of folks at his house when I got there, so when I handed him the beer, I told him to check out the contest printed on the box. It seems that Miller is giving away a Harley this year, in conjunction with Harley's 105th anniversary. The Harley rider's face perked up when I mentioned that the winner got a brand new Harley, but dropped when I told everyone that second place got 2 brand new Harleys!

True, I'm really good friends with the Harley Accessory Manager at our local dealership. They also carried Honda and Polaris. Over the last year, they've built a Harley Superstore or whatever their called. They had their grand opening back in April and she was always on me to come in and check the place out. She went on and on about 2.5 million dollars in inventory... the place is HUGE.

So I finally found myself riding by and thought I'd go in and have a cup of coffee with her.

OMFG.

I walk in and the first thing I notice is their are exactly 8 bikes in the entire place. The rest is clothes, poker tables, light fixtures ad nauseum... all with the genuine HD branded logo.

Amazing marketing actually. But man, it sure is odd seeing motorcycles for ambiance in a clothing store.
