About to accept a purchase of a 04/fjr1300/abs/silver/6600miles and I'll need to transport it to MInnesota. Just wondering about using uship.com and peoples experiences?

I had a Cajun BBQ Grill picked up on the east coast and delivered here thru them. It all depends on the guy you give it to. I think alot of pro truckers check it out to avoid deadheading cross country. At least it can pay the fuel.

The guy that picked up my grill had to go out east for some car parts anyway. He brought back several items to the midwest and paid for his trip. All in all a good thing, but... trusting an uninsured stranger with a motorcycle - I don't think I'd do it. A $400 grill isn't too much risk compared to a 8+k bike. And tying down a bike for transport isn't always easy.
