Hey everyone...Mike da Patriot dude here

doing pretty well, but then if you watch the news, even a little, I and we are doing just fine

so much strife & evil in the world...many struggling in their personal lives

we're doing ok in the Oliver Palace & zoo...struggling financially with unanticipated expenses

I have old cars, old house, old a/c

Family is well, amazing in many ways

Oldest Emily, the socialite one, is happily living in Florida...she recently moved from Milton to Pensacola with a supportive roommate. She's happier being in the "big" city compared to Milton...she doesn't drive and now can walk or take a bus to get to businesses & entertainment as she doesn't drive...she's also looking for a steady babysitting job.

Mary Beth is the brain and ambitious one. She graduated from the "gifted" techno high school with a 3.85 and earned a full ride to Loyola Univ in New Orleans where we live. She chose to live in the dorm and is loving it and doing well. She's immersed in university life, while at the same time, can and is involved in her church and other social activities. It really, in this case, is an advantage for her to be both smart, and for us to be poor to afford a private univ education.
She felt strongly that a Mac Pro was vital to her college education, so her grandmother sacrificially purchased one (as her one gift for the year).

The summer's been hot, so not much riding, but with the fall coming bringing Nawlins' cooler weather, hopefully will be out & about more.

The wife is the AIW as always (Angelic Italian Wifey) as we celebrate our 28th anniversary this Jan and together 30+ yrs. Wow. She works 2 jobs to stay even with everything for us & the kids, so I worry about her and that. Our faith is strong, well between our sometimes weak moments.

so hug someone, forgive someone, make amends as we all realize we are on borrowed time.
don't sweat the small stuff and 99% of it all is the small stuff.
as much as some of us worry or are disgusted with the American government, compared to much of the rest of the world, we should be glad we were born in this country and appreciate being in the best place in the world bar none.

Join me on facebook where I spend time every day...my life is recorded over there

Peace & Blessings to us all
