Thank you for the update Havoc... mucho appreciation. Having been through a fairly severe hurricane but not nearly as bad as yours... I can feel for ya' when griping about the cleanup & inconvenience.

I'm glad you made it through.
Thanks! Sorry it came accross as griping, I'm actually glad we came out relatively unscathed!

I heard from Chris today via email - he is fine, and has been out of town on vacation during the Sandy event. I'm sure he'll be along shortly to chime in.

For those not aware, Havocdog is Chris's brother (Martin) The inference was in his post about their "Mom's house in Sag Harbor", but that may have been lost on some readers.

I'm just glad to hear that both of our good friends on "the island" have fared OK. Now this being on a cruise thing... that sounds a little like punishment .

I was just down in the Greenwich, CT area this week (last city in CT before NY) for work and was quite surprised at how much lumber was still laying around on the ground this late. Roads are still being closed or only partially opened for cleanup. This hit the southern tier of NE pretty hard. They aren't used to such severe weather quite as much as us northerners.

Not to sound prophetic or anything, but I think with the "new" weather patterns in recent years this may become more common going forward. Time to move to the higher ground!

Wow! Thanks for all the concern but I can assure everyone that everything is A-OK in my world these days....Aside from the fact that I was forced to endure 2 weeks of sandy beaches, ATV's in the jungle, umbrella drinks, scantily clad women, cave tubing, unlimited food, no cell phone, no email, no internet, and 80 degree temperatures while everyone else was waiting in gas lines and doing perpetual yard cleanup. It is truly heartwarming to know that my FJR buddies were worried about my well being, thank you all!

It was the first true vacation that I have taken in 25 years....even if it was a cruise. First a Gold Wing and now a cruise....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the update Chris. :)

The UPS guy told me he left your new order of Depends on the porch...I hope that was okay.

Glad you had a great time napping in the nursing home down south. When you're done with your meds, lets go out riding. :clapping:

:D
