I know Im new to the forum, I know I only have 6000 miles on my bike, I think I know when Im getting ripped off!

I bought my bike from Show Low Motorsports in Show Low, Az. Had the oil changed at 1000 miles and wanted to have it serviced again. They qouted me a price of $215.00 for a oil change and to check other fluids and the brakes. I was shocked, I know I can get the same service for half that in Phoenix -- anyways, just wanted to vent a little and let anyone from the White Mountains of Arizona what I thought was a very over priced service, won't buy another thing form those boys!

I know some of you die hards are asking yourselves why I dont change my own oil and service my own bike. My personal idea on that is that I can go build a house, something I'm good at, collect good money and pay someone who knows a whole lot more about Fjr's than me work on mine.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I'll probably start changing my own oil - I just feel better when someone looks my bike over for the other stuff. Those FJR speeds can blur the peripheral vision.

Everything is relative,... If you'r making more than $150 per 20 min's than have someone else change you'r fluids. Wiping the oil off my mits and dirt of my jeans seems to have a rather satisfying feel to it.

Did you tell them how retarded they are ?
