HEated grips and Throttle lock

Hi All,

I want to buy a 07 A but want to use Yamaha heated grips. I went on the Madco site and they say, the lock will not work with Yamaha heated grips. Has anyone modified the Madco lock to work with Yamaha heated grips? Or has anyone used the Yamaha heated grips with another Madco type throttle lock?

I have a B12S with Throttlemiester lock but not crazy with how they work.

Just installed Honda heated grips and they work well with my Throttlemeister heavy. The Honda grips are ALOT cheaper than the Yamaha grips, and work just as well. Plus I think the controler is better looking B)
