Heated grips controller

Is this a factory Yamaha headed grips controller?

It might be . . . . mine doesn't say grip heater' and there are aftermarket controllers that look just like this one, but there's one on eBay that IS OEM and DOES say 'grip heater'. However neither mine nor the one on eBay has a LED like that one, so likely not. It also looks to be too shiny and has a 3 dimensional top . . . so even more likely not.

My original controller looked exactly like the photo except mine didn't have that little red L.E.D. like yours. My current replacement controller also does not have the L.E.D. but has a small "nipple" on top of the dial to get a better grip with gloves on.
