What's the difference between the HRT076 and HRT076-2? I've looked on Heli bars' site and did a google search on the fjrforum and couldn't come up with anything. I just purchased a used triple clamp off a forum member and they are the HRT076. I thought they were the HRT076-2. After going back and re-reading the thread it states they are the HRT076. (my bad). So what's the difference between the two models and will the HRT076 fit my '07.

The -2 offers 2 handlebar positions (forward and back), while the original HRT076 only offers one. Either will fit your bike.

Which one do most people get? I will be putting up a new group buy for these this weekend so anyone who wants one should hold off if they can.

I was looking at this last fall, and thought that when I called them, they said the -2 was non-US and the 076 was the US model. Crap, maybe I have it backwards?

Yeah, go to their site (HeliBars) , and when you go to the details page, the first one on the list says 'US VERSION' and the second one says "EUROPEAN AND CANADIAN VERSION". I could swear that the US was 076 and the second one was 076-2 when I last looked. Ok, I can read too, really I can. 076-2 is the US, 076ES-2 is the non-US.

Anyway, I called both to find out about the difference, and to see if they'd ship via FedEx. They don't ship via FedEx, UPS or USPS only.

If you're really gonna do a group buy, I just might finally take the plunge.

You want the new (2) model, IMO. Having the built-in risers & forward/back capability is great. Besides, Heli doesn't offer the original (non-riser) clamp anymore: Clicky
