Visited "Hoptown" regularly in the 70's. Would make the ride there for a good beef brisket if you know a place.

I'm glad I checked before I typed. The only place listing brisket now is BBQ Shack. We ordered from there a couple weeks ago and the brisket was good. I thought the Woodshed had brisket but they don't. Woodshed has great food though. The other place I like shows permanently closed now.

Since we're way off track, I'll tell a story. When we moved to Hopkinsville back in '95, the Woodshed was the first place we went to eat. There were ants ALL over the table after we sat down. The waitress saw them and sprayed raid on the table. She just wiped it off with her apron. We wondered what we had gotten ourselves into moving to KY. But it's home now.
