The Rally is set for June8-11 and I understand it is a fun event. Headquarters is in Baker City, Ore. Oportunity to ride some beautiful roads. Who is going? You may have a little trouble finding a room in Baker City. We had to book out of town. Google, Hells Canyon Motorcycle

Were can we find some info on this??????

Howmany miles? Days? Ect.

In Florida and looking to travel!

go to this web address and the info is there

I want to go..it is so beautiful in that area. It would be well worth the time to ride if you haven't been there before. I work at a hospital so my days are not the usual Mon-Fri. And I think it's my weekend to work so probably won't be able to join in the fun. But, since I live in Oregon, I'll just do it another time. Plus, since I will be with a smaller group I can enjoy the scenery even better!!

Went last year and had a good time and an excellent ride (two days getting there, three days there, and then two days getting back home). The majority of the bikes are H-D's, but there are also a wide verity of other bikes. Last year I saw at about 10 other FJR's of various years. I will be on a ride to Alaska this June/July, so I will not be going again this year. For those who do go - have fun!

I will be heading way when you guys are ending your rally. I willbe getting some suspension work done on my bike front and rear. It will be gp suspension doing the work. When done their it will be off to Washington and take in some of those fine roads and then come back through Hells canyon and ride some more of those fine roads in Oregon. then the let down I will have to head home and return to work some time....

Wish I could have made your rally sounds like fun. good ridng to you

weekend rider :D

Sounds Awesome. I looked a the stuff online. I will not be able to make it as the WFO is a couple days after that and I cannot take the whole month off (even though I would LOVE TO)

Now that I know about it I can probably go next year

I did a solo ride through there in mid-June of 2005. I stayed in Baker City for a couple of days and rode the "Hells Canyon Scenic Byway" (www.byways.org), the Hells Canyon Dam road, and a bunch of others recommended by the local Yamaha dealer. Spectacular - no traffic, beautiful scenery, enough twisties to satisfy even the most daring. However, sharing those roads with several hundred HD riders would take all the fun out of it. My recommendation - go to the rally for the parties, but stay for a couple of days after it's over and do the rides solo.

I just realized that the picture in my avatar is from that trip; it's in a campground about half way around the byway loop.
