Since opinions are like assholes, and I am called one so often might as well join in. I agree you should have a right not to wear a helmet. However dont expect me and the rest of the taxpayers to support you and your family for your "decision". If you get a brain injury on a motorcycle without wearing a helmet you and your immediate family are not eligable for any government aid whatsoever.

Hey, you're right! But why just stop with helmets? Why not the same for full crash gear? Why not a protective cage?

Yeah, I always ride with a helmet. But the more we beat this horse and ATGATT, the more I wonder if it's just plain crazy to ride a motorcycle period. Where do you draw the line?

Maybe it's just because the weather hasn't gotten really hot, but I've felt very little incentive to ride this year, primarily based on the whole safety issue. Then again, maybe I'm just getting old...

Oooooo....

The only things we need to make this thread The Perfect Tri-Fecta is to include oil preference (dino or synthetic?? canola? how about olive??) and tires & tire pressures.

That'd be awesome.
