Help for new FJR owner

Howdy

I just posted in the intro section but I thought I'd pop in here and drop 2 quick questions if you'll oblige me.

What's the best way to get scotch tape residue off the windscreen? (It's a Puig if that matters. The seller unfortunately taped a for sale sign to the screen.)

Any suggestions for new rider foot pegs? A PO installed some pretty janky pegs.

WD-40 should remove any adhesive residue.

I didn't realize that would be safe for the plastic. I figured I had to treat it more like the shield on my helmet, which they say you can only clean with water. Thank you!

You haven't gotten any feedback on the pegs. While I subscribe to Janky (regularly), a picture might help. Post that so we can see what you're looking at?

I actually found a member on another FJR forum selling the OEM pegs so I have those on the way. I don't have a pic of my current pegs handy but they look something like these cheap Alie Express pegs.

Those are remarkably ugly. Don't blame you for getting them replaced ASAP!
