Help installing G2 tube over Yamaha Heated Grips

Hello,

The dealer states that they'll try to install the G2 throttle tube with my Yamaha heated grips. Heated grips going to be installed on Oct 13th.

Has anyone specifically done this?

What tips can you give that I can pass to the dealership to get the stock heated grips over the G2 throttle tube?

A specific procedure they can follow? A lubricant to use?

What do I tell them? I'm afraid they'll tell me that they can't get them on and just reinstall my stock throttle tube on the heated grips. Then I'll have a G2 I can't use.

Please help...

[SIZE=18pt]Disregard. just got off the phone with Sam from G2 and the tubes are now the same diameter as the stock throttle tube so there should be no problems installing the factory heated grips over them.[/SIZE]

There is however a difference in the length of the throttle tubes between the FJR1300 and the FJR1300AE. The AE is longer by almost 1/2 inch.
