The term muscle cars has morfed in the last couple years. It used to be that a muscle car was a mid-sized (intermediate) car with a big engine (Chevelles, GTO's, Fairlanes, Roadrunners, etc). It has since included the pony cars (with big engines) and even the larger cars with big engines. Not that big a deal; just a change in meaning since the originals were penned in the early sixties. (Damn I was there; boy am I starting to feel old)

I was too-I turned 18 in 1970, so I came of age at the height of Musclecar mania, and I'm damn glad I did. It was a glorious time to be a motorhead.
