We encountered several groups of Harleys out cruisin'. One group we encountered had a guy at the back of the pack on a low-rider with apes and mandatory loud pipes, that invited Denny and Joe to pass. He dropped his left hand low and rode on the very edge of the road while motioning for them to pass. This was in a narrow twisting section of road with very short sight-lines and pretty good elevation changes. I thought he was going to crash off the right side of the road.Did you leap from the right side or the left side?
Fixed it for you Tom...We encountered several groups of Harleys out cruisin'. Anyway, Denny and Joe ended up in the pack, unable to pass the other cruisers, while the shotgun rider crowded their *** from behind. I declined the invite to join the parade and hung far back with Brandon, cause I was not getting in the middle of that mess. Finally the road opened up a bit and Denny and Joe got ahead, and I made a full throttle pass of the group. Shortly after clearing the cruisers we came to an abrupt "roller coaster" peak where I fully left the ground and heard and felt the engine rev as the wheels took flight.
I tell ya, those flat and boring roads in Ohio are a hoot, and I howled watching a couple FJRs join a Hardley parade.
TominCA:Aw crap! Editing...can't remember a name damn it! Thanks Joe.
Now that's a combination I hadn't though of. I'll have to get to know where you're at so I can stop by. This trip was a straight shot out US 22 and the Parkway. I lucked out on the return that the construction closure ended early, so easy trip home.Tom, it was such a nice warm day. You should've stopped by my house for a beer and a bowl of ice cream.
