I know, I know it's still a number of days away, but I just wanted to say have tons o fun and ride safe. No get-offs (ya here me MM?) or close calls, K? May you all be free of any NW precipitation!

Having said that, how about you set yourselves off from the CFO & SW-FOG brethren and post up a ton of pics from the ride. Oh, and how about some names to indicate who's in the photo, too? Be nice to put names to faces and since I'll not be going (big round of applause) I like to know by face who it is that I'm about to insult or lay wise crack to...

TWN, your request for photos is only fair since you posted yours in the spot normally reserved for avitars. Escape and I will be coming out from Michigan with about 4 days to spare, 2 on either side of the WFO.

I plan to head to Oregon and check out Mt.St.Helens on one of those sides so you all may want to stay clear of the area until after I've left. If its going to blow it'll probably do it while I'm on it. Escape has family plans near the WFO so I'll be solo.

Anyone interested in seeing an eruption up close and personal should drop me a line, maybe we can hook up for the ride if you're in the area.

Oh Great Squadron LEADER, how bout you cut back on your bbs posts here and go out to one of the group rides yourself! Then, you could post some pictures of your own to show just how much we've been slacking off! :assasin:

That being said, it is great when people go to the extra effort to capture the images of a group ride. It is a lot of work to do this, when it is far more fun just to fly along. (Instead of ride ahead, stop, shoot pix, remount, get behind, lose the group, get in peoples faces, intrude on the moment, get names, locations, etc. To get a group picture or to do anything in concert with a moto group is herding cats... It IS work, IMO..)

BTW, there ARE some nice pix of the SW-FOG posted on the FJROwners board. THIS board was just being born about that time... B)

Very weak postings for both CFO and SW-FOG, IMO. I mean, c'mon! No shots of radman in his wife beater tee?! Not saying that what was posted wasn't good, just not enough. Hell, go and take a look at the pics Highlander posted of the trip they took about the SW. Now, THAT'S posting!

'Sides, iffin' I were able to go, my Canon would be aclickin' and I'd be apostin' like there's no tomorrow. Then again, would you expect less from a post 'ho?
