I snapped this picture Sunday in the Feather River Canyon of Northern California. Made me think of Bungie stating something to the effect that it was chilly in his neck of the woods.

That's a frozen waterfalls all the way down to the river. I loved the way the water froze coming out of the pipe at the bottom.

But it was warm enough to ride

So with it being January and all, how about posting up some pictures of something frozen?

At least it will help Surly deal with the dog days of summer.

I'll see your pansy waterfalls. This was taken just up the road from my igloo place.

Oh, BTW, these are NOT waterfalls. Just repeated run off.

Who am I kidding. Thats a ******* glacier. Global warming. ****. Ya.

-49F last night. Why don't you come up for a visit?

That is actually the backside of a truckstop just West of town without plumbing.. Part of that structure is my urine..

Which anti freeze for which machine?

All that cold Arctic air is being drawn into that big vacuum we call Ontario.

Well OK, I've forgotten what the sun looks like.

Read and weep Steve.

-35C with heavy hoar frost in the air this morning. Square tires from sitting overnight that only started getting into something close to round by the time I got to work. Drivers door wouldn't close (latches get VERY stiff in the cold).

Tonight, with a measly 15km/h wind (baby breath pressure) their calling for -45 to -50 with the windchill again.

Ugh. I hate this ****.

Oh for God's sake Bungie, stop dwelling on your tiny little travails. Do you think having to ride a moto 1,500 miles down the Baja Peninsula to lay on the beach, do some sport fishing and go scuba diving is easy-peasy? Think of our problems and stop being selfish, we have to ride back 1.5K! Man, these whiny Frostbacks!

I thought you where heading to sunny climes. Compared to that ******** Sudbury it's absolutely wonderful here in beautiful downtown Bowmanville (I had to post Oshawa weather since it is the closest to me) ......

Just one question for Kamal, is it still raining in Castlegar????

Sunny is optional. I just want warm. Thought for sure I scored in a job in Cambridge (not exactly south but much better than the rock). Didn't get it. Bastards.

BC.. Well, Nepotism runs large.

It's supposed to start warming up on Sunday.
