He was just excessive in his speed and I guess I brought him down to the speed limit and he got pissed, oh well.

And not to tought how big my **** is, but I am not going to tuck tail and run "just because" someone "might" do something. Hell, I "might" be that "someone"

BTW - I "tend" to "carry" as well, for those "just in case" moments. B)
Well then...as long as you're safe and he only had to slow to the speed limit, or change lanes to miss you then you should have shot him when he flipped you off. Why are you so slow to protect your honor?
My Honor was never in question or I would have :p

A few years back there was a road rage incident on the exit ramp of US-50 and Hazel Avenue East of Sacramento. I live 4 blocks from Hazel about 4 miles North of US-50, so this was close to home. A dude was pissed at another dude for cutting him off. They exhanged hand signals and one guy left his vehicle and if I remember right, he had no weapon. The other driver got out and shot the guy right then and there in the middle of rush hour traffic.

He was arrested. He later came to find out that the guy he killed was 44 years old with 3 kids and a wife that was left behind with no life insurance and she was a housewife so she had no way of making ends meet. He got out on bail, went to the location where he shot the guy and people had erected a monument of sorts, kneeled down and shot himself. In his note, he said he couldn't live with himself and couldn't handle the jail time he had coming.

Well...now his wife and 2 kids were also left with a loss...not that him being in jail was much better than him being dead. Ever since this event, I've not really reacted to being pissed off at other drivers and that young kid that flipped you off just has to grow up. Just keep driving and ignore the idiots that try to provoke is my advise.

Also since this event, and a few others in the area, the cops are not very patient with either party involved in road rage and they act fast and harshly to stop it and to try to keep you from doing it.

Same thing happened here, except it was 2 women. The shooter is still in jail I think. I also believe it sparked a Roadrage law, which is why I am surprised by MSC responce as he is a cop one city above where this occured.

As I said in my a diff post of mine. I make my choices and stand by them right or wrong and accept the consequnces they bring good or bad. I will not blame someone for my faults. Too many people will not accept responsibility anymore. I do and will hold others accountable as well.

Well then...I'm gonna be nice to you

It is weird when cops kinda shrug and say "can't do anything". That guy romping on his brakes in front of you is certainly something that we should be able to address. I bet if you had got the License number, you could go to the cops and say "let's go, I want to perform a citizen's arrest" that they would have to go with you. I dunno though...

"it just wasn't worth it." "What was I thinking?" "How did I let this punk **** with my life like this?"
+100. You cannot school these fuckwads. They live in their own little world of ignorance and stupidity.

The gratification you would get in the heat of the moment with your retaliation, would not equal the sorrow and pain with spending some years behind bars, wrecking your life, and spending so much time away from your FJR. ;)

I do not want to speak for MSC, but I think what he meant was that judge will not issue the warrant.

And all cop would be able to do at that point is issue a ticket. When it comes time for a court date he would not be able to say anything besides you asked him to write a ticket and he did so. He is powerless unless he saw it. And like in my case, judge trows it out the wondow with the slap on the wrist.

So, don't be surprised to see many cops turn and laugh at you. because they know that it is most likely a loosing battle.

I am contamplating on spending some $$$ and wiring a front/rear camera. Remember the crash in LA where the girl got hit by a Civic not able to maintain its lane. The only thing that helped her in court was the camera.

It is a sad state of afairs. And it is specially harder on those of us that know a bit or two about The Kick ass Do and such because we have to stay away from comfrontations even more then anyone else. because it will be counted against us if something were to happen to the dumn ass. Unless you are small like me and the dumn ass is bigger then me. then I can claim self defense :assassin: :yahoo: and at 5'6" almost all bigger then me :D

So, ride/drive and ignore the schmucks. because you know what they are trying to compensate for...

The cameras might be a good idea, the logistics, that's another thing. Get the plate number, maybe the owner lives somewhere nearby. With the right contacts you can learn the address where the vehicle is registered. Wherever you want to go with that info is up to you. Could be borrowed or stolen vehicle, that could be a factor in whatever further, perhaps covert action you might want to take.

'Course you could just forget about it and go on with life.
