Actually, we had one for evaluation, I took it home for a few days. Cops ain't buyin, not enough room, poor outside vision, didn't come with a can opener for getting perps in, much less out. Would work well for a chase vehicle, but not for a regular patrol. Had good snort wid da Hemi though, and the colors rendered me bulletproof. Had a cute wiggle at 150+...... ;)

How 'bout the 2 Gallardos that Lamborghini donated to the Italian Highway Patrol....(allegedly for rushing a defibrillator to the scene of an accident or transporting organs)

Whoever the lucky cop is, he gets a company ride way beyond his pay-grade

PS: This is a LEO vehicle not even the Feejer can shake off

We have five on order for our department as testers - should be in any time.

I've not seen one up close, but my feeling is "they're going to be small", but might be good on the interstate. .

Of course, I'm making that same argument about getting FJR's instead of Harley's but no one is buying it... ;-)

I do want to get my hands on the electronics/equipment mounting, since they're supposed to blow Ford away in that area.

Not quite that gussied up...but were 'posed to be gettin' a few. As stated not for patrol but for HOV work. Cant wait for the first chase in one!!

Fiveo

We got one for our little semi-rural community (<4k pop). Our guys like it for working our four miles of Interstate. They say it's roomier than the Impalas and isn't falling aprt like the Crown Vics.

Of course, it is a tad faster than either...

We have forty of these on the way because Ford couldn't meet our timeline.

They do look a wee bit tight in the backseat...

FJR_PigSince I live in the Portland / Tigard area, I hope I don't see one in my mirrors.
If it was me, I'd take care of you, but I put the detective hat a couple years ago. Sorry... ;)

The back seat seems a bit tight? Personally I think the perps should ride in the trunk. I don't give a damn about their comfort. No heat in the winter, no air in the summer would be fine with me for the back seat passengers. A dog will have no problem. From other pics I have posted you can see I am no shrinking violet, and I fit in the backseat of the new Charger just fine, albeit a little tight in the headroom department.

Bad boys, bad boys watcha' gonna' do, watcha' gonna' do when they come for you?

:assasin:
