Has anyone come up with a good design to carry a set of golf clubs? Playing golf and riding the motorcycle are two of my favorite things to do in life. However, my current design puts most of the weight of the clubs on the muffler support bracket, and I'm not sure how much weight that bracket is designed to support. By using a light weight bag and carrying a minimal amount of extra stuff and maybe eliminating a few clubs I can get the weight down to about 20 lbs. Do you think this is up to "par".

With all of the documented subframe issues of our beloved FJR(s) I'd be quite reluctant to carry golf clubs cantilevered as shown in the above post.

The weight of the clubs is the heads and they are at the extreme end of the cantilever on the above picture.

Even with the Givi 357 and a Garauld Stiffy kit I'd be reluctant.

One good bump or pot hole could cause a catastrophic failure and ruin a good day of motorcycling as well as a day of golf. JSNS
