Sounds like NAFO was a good one. If you can, mosey on over to the million mile challenge thread and post your miles. We're just shy of 500,000, a really big number if you think about it.

Cheers

Hayabusa odometer turned this figure on the way back from Golden....

Well, let's see. Riding from home to NAFO and back twice: 1 mile

60 mile ride up Golden Gate Canyon, to Nederland, and back down Coal Creek Canyon: 60 miles (if that much)

I can add 5K for this year. I wish I could have matched Warchilds 25K, but I can't maintain a forward motion of 6.82 feet per sec for 8 months straight. (I was curious so I worked it out, but I may be off a day or so)

Rode my FJR 6985 miles during the month of July, including NAFO. BC plus 15 western states in 27 days.

Well, to be accurate.... it's more like the past 4 months.

Bought the bike new in mid-November, just as the heavy snows started to settle in. Couldn't really put the bike on the road in a serious way until April.... according to my maintenance records, the Busa had less than 4K on the odometer as late as April 20th.

Better pace yourself, Big Guy! :D
It was a strain on my system, but I managed.

Actually, I could add about 6000 miles this year. There is another couple thousand on the KLR 650, but that doesn't count. I'll probably put another thousand or so on before I have to go out of country for a few months. That means I will miss the opportunity for the great Fall rides in September and October. If the weather stays warmish, maybe I can make it up in November.
