Hell Thug, this is the USA... nobody works, we all sit around all day collect unemployment and drink Fosters ! :D

I noticed that too, that there's a lot of folks posting during what seem to be work hours. And I confess I've snuck in during my work day to have a peek or post something.

But I'm a working stiff like most folks :( : director in a Big Four audit-accounting firm, on the consulting side of the business. Spend my days hopping among clients. Can you spell Sarbanes-Oxley? :russian_roulette:

You do realize that, from the US, you appear to be hanging from monkey bars, no?

(I'll answer your question in return for some decorum. Not a lot, but a little)

Well, as King Ho, 'round these parts...

1. Keep it short. I betcha 5 or 600 of my posts consist of a single smilie.

2. I'm on almost all day at work. That said, I pop in and out and post as required. All told, I might spend 30 minutes reading and posting. Yes, I did take an Evelyn Wood course back in the 70's and I'm self employed.

3. Multi-task, unless of course, you are a brain surgeon or bomb technician.

4. Being a wise-ass helps. Most of these bozos leave the door wide open. It makes for easy pickin's.

5. I don't do the gym **** and hence, I have a pencil neck as opposed to the mighty Thug!

6. Type fast.

7. Memorize the smilie codes v. searching in the list, ie : **** : or

Don't forget the Mockingbird. Sleepless nights = more time to post, Mr. Ho. :trinibob:

Cheers,

Yep, I work. Multi-tasker extraordinaire. Multiple job titles with multi-page job description. My desk has at least 2 computers running at all times. Dual formats, PC & Mac. Forum is usually running in the background on one.

I put in 57 hours this last week. I just happen to be on the computer most of the day, so it is easy for me to jump in and out of the forum. Hell, you should see how many posts I had on the shooting forums when I was really into that.

Don't think I've graduated to a post whore... yet!

Have to admit that I feel very obligated to put back at least as much as I've taken from the forum. Only seems right.

I'm a single Dad with two young daughters, nice stressful job in the newspaper business, multiple ex-wives and always looking for one more way to f*!k-off. It's the American way!

I do post from work sometimes, but only when something else really critical needs to be done. Mostly I just don't sleep.

Being 6 time zones removed from the US East Coast (and 9 from the Republik of Kalifornia) I often post while you lazy, decadent lot are asleep.

I work in international sales and I'm always staring at a PC screen. I (barely) retain my sanity by posting on this Forum and the Italian one.

When I'm away on a biz trip (usually in Bum Fook, China), the Forum(s) are a home away from home.
