I ride a scooter. I'm having a torrid affair with my new to me 2008 Yamaha Majesty 400. I still love my FJR, madly, now and forever. But the scooter pushes buttons I didn't know I had. There I said it. I lack words to say how much simple fun we are having. Who knows how long this summer fling will last. Help me.

Coming out of the closet is a good thing. Most of us may not agree with how you feel, but let's hope the forum's "court" will endorse your right to feel this way...

When's the wedding?

Former Zuma 50, Agility 125, Honda Reflex and Silverwing, Burgman 400 and 650 Exec owner. Scooters are a blast and I hope to get another Burgman or large displacement Kymco back in the garage in the future. Burgman 650 was a great touring machine and smooth as silk at 70 mph. Enjoy your Majesty and no apologies needed.

One like this, right?

I used to ride my wife's Silverwing once on a while for a change of pace. It always felt like it was made from over cooked lasagna noodles. I never enjoyed extreme confidence in its handling. But I was fun to watch the double takes when you'd blow by cars and other bikes at 90mph. Still, its a scooter. And my feet were always bored.
