I talked to a guy at Electrosport Industries. He said the new Hi-output stator is about 2 months from being on the market. He told me it would be 1/3 more power then stock. And it would not cost more then $179.00, maybe less.. Just a heads up.. ;) smitty

clicky here

I was told on average you have 100 watt to spare with the stock stator. If there is 1/3 more power, how much extra would a guy have for lights and stuff ect?? Smitty

Works out to about 637 watts total output at 1/3 more, with oe being 490.

Where are their charts from tests? I would hope for some empirical test results.

How specifically are they achieving higher output? Be careful of the claim, "A higher output at a lower RPM". This is not an increase in overall capacity. We need there to be a real change in that 3,500 to 4,500 band.

The change in the core to industrial grade transformer material sounds like where they'd get most of the change.

If they upgrade the wire composition I can see some marginal increases. Does wiring thicker actually produce more capacity or just move power delivery around in the RPM band?

Computer controlled winding sounds interesting.

...Still want to see test results from the manufacturer.

I Emailed them about 3 months ago, reply was ready in about 2 months.

I hope its a fact.

A little late for fall vest heaters.

I'll buy 1 when completed. Price is great.
