So I know that with an 07 FJR I should be happy, but I just have the "one more bike" syndrome. The FJR works great for two up riding and is comfortable and competent. No complaints what-so-ever...except that I find myself wanting a Ducati 1198 or BMW K1300S, or... I suspect most of you know the feeling. Bottom line is that I couldn't get rid of the FJR, even if I wanted to, as the wife loves riding on it. So, I need to store two bikes. That leads up to the problem:

I have a two car garage and currently park the FJR, without bags, between the Escape and 350Z. There's enough room to get any vehicle in and out that way. There is space in front of the Z to put a bike if I could just find an easy way to get a bike in and out of that space. Moving the Z and backing the motorcycle back and forward to get it away from the wall is just asking for an eventual drop. So, anyone know of any devices that one can put a motorcycle on and then roll it around a garage? How about an "over the hood" storage method for storing bikes over the hood of a car? (Hey, I'm desperate here! Wife won't park her escape outside and I'm not keen on leaving the Z out in the elements either).

I have one and it works exactly as described. I love it.

One issue I have is that the reduced clearance for the center stand makes it necessary to put a board under the rear wheel. With a one inch board in place, the bike goes up on the park-n-move with little effort.

I have a $99 Harbor Freight rolling motorcycle dolly that works well.

You use it with the side stand, not the center stand. YOu roll it up on the dolly and there is a perpendicular spot for the sidestand to rest in. I wanted even more room so I use a couple of pieces of plywood under the sidestand to tilt it up even more verticle. Wheeling it around is easy but you do have to be careful with the more vertical position so you don't get careless and tip it over.

If you decide on this find one at a HF store, not over the internet.

Hope this helps!
