Highway 1 above SF to Washington border, July 24th till 1st ?

Anyone interested in a camping and hotel trip up The One to somewhere around the WA border, stay on the coast up and back , beat the heat in the valley. Do the Lost Coast on the way up ? Explore any roads along the way that look interesting ? Anyone have time for a week of destinations unknown ?

Have fun and enjoy my favorite stretch along the way--Highway 1 from Jenner to Leggett. And best of all--IT'S NICE AND COOL!

I just did a portion of this route last week in a 1970 Porsche 914 with my son. Beautiful scenery, though early AM had deep fog and cold weather in many spots. Traffic is very slow on weekends due to RV’s and locals, so don’t expect anything quick or exciting, and Oregon had lots of police patrols along the first 100 miles so watch for speeding.
